Fleur: Flowers In Your Own Backyard is an illustrated book about flowers for children ages 5–10 years old. The book is interactive; there are notes, secret messages children can discover, and dried plants they can smell and touch. Seeds are included within the book that children can plant and watch grow while documenting the progress of the seeds they have planted. By reading about and taking care of plants, they learn responsibility and patience as they wait for the flowers to grow. Nothing truly happens over night, but with care and patience, something beautiful can bloom.
